About Our Matcha

Our premium, ceremonial-grade matcha is sourced from Uji, Kyoto, a region famous for centuries of tea craftsmanship.

Our matcha is the “real deal”, grown in the rolling hills of Uji and processed with centuries-old craft. The process includes shading the tea plants for about a month before picking to amp up the chlorophyll and L-theanine, using only the youngest, softest leaves (called tencha), and stone-grinding the leaves slowly into an ultra-fine powder.

Think of matcha as green tea turned up to eleven. Unlike regular tea where you only sip an infusion, with matcha, you are drinking the whole leaf. The leaves are stone-ground into a fine, silky powder loaded with antioxidants, amino acids, and plant power.

The “Lumen” is the light. the calm, sustained energy and clarity that matcha offers. It’s more than just a glow. it’s a way to feel.

Matcha is often described as coffee’s cooler, calmer cousin. It provides a calm, focused energy without the crash, thanks to the amino acid L-theanine.

Products

Both are Ceremonial Uji Matcha, but they have slightly different profiles:

SUISHOKU is crafted for purists who whisk it straight. it is complex, rare, and unforgettable. It uses the Gokou cultivar.

SETSUGEKKA is smooth enough to sip neat but rich enough for creamy lattes. It blends the Samidori and Yabukita cultivars.
